Reports from Rome state that an interview between the Premier (Signor Salandra) and Signor Giolcttr is taken to mean that an attempt" is'-.'being made to unite the authoritative elements in [politics in order to the better face the problems now confronting-'the country. _It is reported in Rome that Germany i offers Italy as the price of neutrality the Trentino alone, Trieste remaining under Austrian rule, or at best becoming a free port! '
