A rerv fine selection of tne stirrin<*
posters which are being issued at Home by the Parliamentary Patriotic Committee and other organisations, with a view of bringing it home to the thoughtless young man that he i s needed at the front, has been received by Meesrc. AlacJlahon Bros., of th e Queen's Theatre. An excellent one is a replica of that momentous "scrap of paper," showing the seals and the signatures of the diplomats who guaranteed Belgium's neutrality. One fine poster has a typical Tommy, illustrating a line in a letter that came from the trenches: "The moment the order came to go forward there were smiling faces everywhere." Another arresting placard shows a stalwart British soldier with fixed bayonet standing between the Huns and a hunted Belgian family, whose house is seen burning, in, the background. "Remember Belgium" i s the legend at'the top of the poster. "Hold! Go in training and help the boy 3 at the front," And "If •you <»n-t join the Army, try and get a recruit,; are two of the exhortations on posters done in patriotic cplours. "It's ?,*? 1 | t . c , ome and help us lads, quick!" is the title of a capital poster showing r&a 3 * 1 nd,D " over Ws wounded confihTr h VJf «t0 the funds of wai W 1 ? ree a picnic wJI b* hdd at Pine Ma£<l tomorrow
