A NURSES' CLUB.
TO BE ERECTED AT EPSOM.
Plans have now been prepared for the erection of club 'buildings for the Auckland branch of the Xew Zealand Trained Nurses' Association. The site chose is at the corner of Mountain Road and Seecombe Koad, Epsom. The tender of Mr. J. J. Holland. £2938, has been accepted for the work of erectins the buildings.
• The club will be used for residential purposes, only, so that the nurses may Eve together, and be readily communicated with by the doctors.
The plans show that the building will jte of two storeys, the lower portion being ot7=red-pre=sed brick with a rubble stone base, and the upper storey finished m rough caste, with a slate-coloured roof. Th er e -H-in he social and living rooms, and seventeen bedrooms. The whole of the interior of the building will Jjh of lath and plaster, and will be hgnted by electricity.
