Yesterday, -King ■ the-telescope at Auckland University : College,:! observed four comparatively 1 large spots, and five smaller ones. Today four of the smaller ones had appar- ' enrJy disappeared, while the fifth one had brightened up, and now shows as two spots.- The larger "ones should he vj»bl e in an opera glass, in front of which a piece of smoked or glass is held.
