PRICE OF FOODSTUFFS.
SYDNEY, February 26. A deputation from the Labour Council protested that the Commodities Commission had fniled to regulate prices in many instances where regulation was urgently needed. The Hon. D. R. Hall (Minister of Justice) did not agree with this view, and said the Commission had carried out its work promptly and well. The Federal Cabinet has decided to extend the concession in regard to bran, pollard, and uaten straw to private persons.
