. HOTLY DISASTER REPORT. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter. , " WELLISOVOX. Thursday. It was announced by the Hon. \V Fraser (Minister of Mines) to-day that the report of the Huntly Mines Commission was nearly completed, and he hoped to be ab!e to present it to Parliament on Friday afternoon. He understood that it ira:- a lengthy document of 24 pages, accompanied by 400 paprs of evidence. Ue hari i-onie to the conclusion that the report would no doubt contain suggestions to he incorporated in the Coal ;Jlincs Pill, therefore he thought it advisable to lay the report : on the tailp before discussing the bill.] Sir Joseph Ward expressed a hope that the Government would give members a j chance of dealing separately with the : report and not force them to sandwich into a discussion on matters affe.clintr the lives of the miners a number of questions entirely foreign to the position. The Prime Minii-ter stated that hp would s?e that members wert> given ;i couple of hours to read the Commission's report before starting to debate the Coal Mices Bill, but he agreed with his colleague that the discussion of both matters should take place at the same time.
