TROUBLESOME_ TROOPERS.
iP.y Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) CHRJSTCHURCH, Tuesday. Now thai the camp has been shifted to Sockburn. conditions have Improved. As in other centres, the camp authorities arc having trouble with a (few men. ,\ small clique has caused quite a lo'l of trouble in one way and another, and brought discredit on 'the force. Yesterday they were arrested by a picket, and. as there was no adequate place of detention out at the camp, the authorities decided to give the disturbers a night in Lytteton Gaol. The officer commanding -the camp saifs that these men will not sail with tlic force, but it is improbable that, they will escape .ill punishment by merely being dismissed.- They may be kept at Lyttctton until the military authorities decide what is to be done in the matter.
