SUFFRAGETTES TAKE A HAND. (Received 1 p.m.) LONDON, September S. The Suffragette (."nion founded by Mrs Fawcett has suspended its political activities, and is co-operating with the local schemes for the relief of those out of work and those on half time in the factory districts. The Union is also helping professional and literary classes, and is co-operating -with the local government boards in maternity work. An appeal is to be made to the Dominiona for funds.
