GERMANS IN PACIFIC.
SKIPS EXPECTED AT FIJI. A SQUADRON OF SIX. SYDNEY, August 6. The eteamer Tofua reports that -Hie German Pacific fleet, of six ships, wae expected at 'Momi Bay, Fiji, on July 31. It was reported from Samoa receirtly that the German fleet on the China Station was cruising in the Pacific, and was due in Apia last week. The fleet consists of the flagship Gneisenau, 11,420 tons, 34 guns; the cruiser Scharnhorst, 11,420 tons, 34 guns; and the cruiser Nurnberg,. 3,390 tone, 18 guns. The supply ship Titania is accompanying the squadron. The Tofua mentions six ships in the fleet, leaving it to be inferred that the gunboats Condor and Cormoran have joined the other ships.
