EARTHQUAKE SHOCKS.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, Wednesday. Two very pronounced shocks of earthquake were felt here at 9.29 p.m. to-night. Buildings shook for quite a minute. WELLINGTON, Wednesday. A sharp shock of earthquake at 9.25 this evening startled many people. It shook the Town Hall windows and caused some alarm among the audience at an entertainment. WESTPORT, Wednesday. A severe earthquake was felt at 9.2S to-night, lasting for about 17 seconds. No damage is reported.
