MOUNT ALBERT DRAINAGE.
■ At a meeting of the Mount Albert Borough Council, held last evening, a port wits received from the Mount Eden Borough Council regarding a proposal that portion of the .Mount Albert district should drain into the Mount Eden borough's main sewer, which would be capable of draining 13* acre* of the former borough. If Mount Albert constructed an independent sewer, it would cost from £2,500 to £2.000. Mount Eden, therefore, suggested that Moilnt Albert should pay a certain proportion of the cost of Mount Eden drainage. The Mayo r (Mr. Murdocl.
