SUFFRAGETTE'S BOMB.

LONDON, July 13. j A bomb with a burniiig fuse attached ' wus discovered yesterday while evensong I was in progress at Pt. John's, Westminster. A suffragette named Anne Bell, who was recently released under the Cat and Mouse Act. and who was quitting i the building, was arrested. The bomb consisted of a canister nine I inches high, which contained gunpowder I and metal filings. It was timed to explode in an hour. The captured woman has been closely watched for the past ! few Sundays. I She told the Court that she meant to blow up the church. A post bap exploded at Blackpool in the Manchester train and ignited six hags and also a portion of the van. Tbe guard was badly burnt in extinguishing the outbreak. The outrage is attributed to suffragettes.
