AVOXDALE JOCKEY CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Avondale Jockey Club was held this morning, the president. .Mr. M. Foley, presiding over a , good attendance of members. The report I jnnd balance sheet, which have already been, published, were adopted. Messrs. M. Foley and ,11. H. Uayr were appointed to represent the club at the conference in connection with the Cast»lia appeal case. On the motion of Mr. L. Cooke, seconded by Mr. W. Rainger, last year's committee were re-elected. Votes of thanks to the retiring officials and the secretary concluded the business. The emtfm-lttce met subsequently, but adjourned until the return of the chairman and secretary from the conference.
