THE DEFENCE CONFERENCE.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The conference of the members of the headquarters and district staffs of the aOefence Forces has; concluded. Sir Alexander Godley stated that particular attention was given to the discussion of Mr lan Hamilton's report. The question of having concentrations instead of drill for country units was gnne into at length, and particular attention was paid to matters of reorganisation and improvement suggested in the report.
