Tlie Valuation Department has prepared, on tlie motion of Mr. Witty, a return showing the number of owners of country lanciV in the Dominion and the unimproved values. It- is as follows. The amounts i-u the first column are the unimproved' value of the estates, the figures in tbe second are tlie numbers of owners of land in the country only, and bh-ose in the third are the mint bens of the owners of other land': —
