Mr. Henry Hayward left by the Wellington express at noon to-day. The Rev. Father Muleahey, of st. Gerard's Church. "Wellington, is seriously ill at present. Mr. A. P. Rankart, of tbe firm of Campbell and Elrrenfried. was a passenger by to-day's express for Wellington. Mr. A. G. Daniels, president of the Foreign Missions Board of the Seventh Day Adventist movement, is at present on a visit to New Zealand. A resolution congratulating the Mayor of Auckland on being made a C.M.G. was passed by the Auckland Harbour Board yesterday afternoon. Mr. C. J. Morrison, who have been on a trip round the Islands, returned to Auckland this morning by the Navua. Mr. W. H.
