COUNTRY TEACHERS.
THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE. The annual conference of country teachers was held at the Training Coilout this afternoon. There was a large attendance of teachers from the. primary schools in country districts. Mr W. A. •101 l I president of the Country Teachers' Association! was in the 'chair. The feature of the conference was an address given by- the Chief Jns-pector (Mr. K. K. Mulgan) on " The Syllabus." An interesting explanation of the syllabus in all its phases was given by Mt. Mulgan. and at the ' conclusion he was accorded a hearty vote of thanks.
