The Health Inspector Mr Erwin) reported five cases of infectious disease for the month. In respond to correspondence received from the ralmerston North Hospital Board relative to a committee which had heen formed to organise an appeal for funds to establish 1 a radium Institute in the Sonh Island, it j was resolved to extend to the scheme tlie j Board s sympathy and most hearty support. Thames Valley l>airy Co.; bread, J. Xewdick. The tenders received for the snpply of drugs were referred to the medical superintendent.
