In a letter be slates that be proposes to divide I lie expedition into two sections—a, Woddoll Sea section and a Ross Sea section. The party in Woddcll Sea will include the transcontinental party, while the lioss Sea section will consist of six men. who will lay a depot at the foot of Beardinore Clacier for tbe transooiil imnfal party, and possibly winter at Cape Evans. This programme will be adopled only if sullicient money be forthcoming, otherwise there will only bo the Woddoll S-a ship and one small party for the trailscontinental journey.
