HOW DISEASE IS SPREAD.
BRITISH INVESTIGATIONS. LONDON, February 24. Dr. Leiper, of the London School of Tropical Medicine, Surgeon Atkinson and Cherry Garrard, of Scott's Antarctic expedition, have gone to China, in the endeavour to ascertain the mode of spread of certain diseases among man. Their attention will be especially devoted to ankylostomiasis (miner's anaemia), which is seriously prevalent arnonc the tea asd rubber coolies.
