A MINISTER'S BELIEF.
SAN FRANCISCO, February 7. In regard to the outspoken utterances by the Bey. Dr. Aked on the subject of the Immaculate Conception, and the call on him to resign by his fellow Presbyterian, ministers. Dr. Aked said in an interview yesterday that the whole controversy had a comic side. He had said nothing in his sermons that he had not previously averred. However as his resignation was demanded, he was quite .willing to accede.
