THEISTIC BELIEFS.
(Tlmes-Sydney. Sun Special Cable.) LONDON, February 8. Mr Balfour, in concluding the Gifford lectures, said theistic belief was essential for the retention of values in beauty, morality, and science. If we wanted to retain these values undiminishd, there was only one setting—the belief in God.
