NEWCASTLE TRADE.
SYDNEY; January 19. The coal exported from Newcastle in 1913 totalled the- record amount of 5,236,621 tons, of the value of £2 7*5 621 as against 5,030,308 tons, valued at £2,617,694, in the preceding year. New Zealand received over half a million tone en Increase of 91,000 over that of 1912. The total export trade from Newcastle in 1913 is valued at £3,315,462, compared with £3,133,856 during the previous year. Imports increased by £73,807.
