TTNSATiSFACTCB.V TRIALS. FURTHER TESTS DEMANDED. LONDON. January 10. The submarines built in England for the Australian navy will not sail until | the middle of March. It is reported that I the machinery trials have been misatis- I factory, and the Admiralty insists ou further tests before taking them over. LEAVING NEXT KONTH. (Received 1 p.m.) i MELBOURNE, this day. The two submarines ordered by tbe Federal Ministry are lo leave England on February- 2S. They will be escorted by a warship to Singapore, where an Australian vessel will meet them.
