The following communication was recently received by a gentleman resident in the North of England:— "We understand that you are contemplating matrimony, and tender you our congratulat'ionc. If you -will advise us of the amount you are prepared to spend —say, two hundred -pounds— will set up a model house in our establishment, so that you can see what every room will look like.
