To-day Government, and Farmers' Union officials have been at the camp paying out portion of the allowances made to men who desire to claim remuneration. It i? understood that a fairly big percentage of the men arc putting in claim?. THE CITY MEN. MORE SWORN" IN TO-DAY. The city ""specials" are likewise working early and late from the three centres of their activities — Queen's wharf, King's wharf and the Drill Hall. About 160 more men were sworn in yesterday, and others arc making the requisite declaration to-day, those in charge reporting that the response, has been -very satisfactory.
