FOOTBALL.
There are. no fewer than six international Rugby players at Cambridge I'Diversity this season, iso that the Light I'-l'-ien ought to be very strong. Writing under date October 10, our I London correspondent says:—"Among the New Zealander-s who are playing : liugby football in the Old Country this - year is R. Wilson, who has attached him- ; -elf to Rosslyn Park, r. well-known metropolitan organisation. Wilson, who • plays in the three-quarter line, is very • highly thought of by 'his comrades, and ' hid play for the Park against the London Scottish team fit Richmond last Saturday very favourably impressed the critics. Wilson was very much in evidence, and more often {hail not 'in possession.' but, the Scots, whose attack was dpadly. were not long in spotting the New Zealandcr as a dangerous man. and Wilson found himself very closely marked. Still, he found his way over the line once in the first half, and figured prominently in tiie movements that enabled the Park to score two other trie;, and thus win a strenuous match by three tries (0 points) to a goal (5 points). Wilson ie last, resourceful, and very sure in his handling of the ball, : and is a decided acquisition to the j Bosslyu Park third line."
