I . ■ (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AY A .VGA XII, Thursday. The Wanganui Show wa; concluded to-day in beautiful weather and with a very large attendance. The championship for the hack class was won by E. Short's Scout, and the championship for harness horses by J. Hefferson's, Emerald Isle. The competitions resulted as follows: Leaping, steeplechase style: H. "VY. Brewer's Utility 1. *_". H. Booth's Hikuratigi _, G. E. .Tones* Blackboy 3. Ladies' leaping: IV. H. Booth's Hikurangi 1. J. D. Smith's Rufus 2, G. R Jones' Blackboy 3. .Miss Smith, on "R_f us, was adjudged the best lady rider.
