NEW ZEAl____-___3 AB_.o._D. (From Our Special Correspondent.) LONDON. October IT. At a meeting of the Council of the Royal Colonial Institute, held on Tuesday. Mr .lohn H. Dean end Mr Gerhard 11. Engels, of New Zealand, were elected Fellows. Major General and Mrs Godley are in England on six months' furlough. The former has been attending the manoeuvres in the north, and is at present in London. Mrs D. Ziman. of Xew Zealand, gave a musical "At Home" at her residence Carlton Mansions, Holland Park Gar- ! dens, this week, when amongst those present were -Mrs Blanche Levi and Miss Levi, of Dunedin and Wellington; JMisa Nathan. Auckland: the Misse« Van Staveren, Wellington; Mr Blow, 'Wellington; Miss Mary Mackenzie, Dunedin; and Miss Belle Hyams, Wellington. Miss Adelaide Vnn Staveran sang several times, as also did Mr Blow, who is studying music in F.utrland. while both Mrs and Miss Kathleen Levi played, and Miss Belle Hvams recited.
