I Then he went out and broke the window ito get into the room. Arrived there, ! he saw his wife hanging by the neck on i a strap that was jammed in the top of ; thi' door. 110 lilted the body down, and found tlifit his wife was dead. Evidently the little girl had witnessed the ! aiiifid;-, and been in the room ever sine;-. An inc]Ue«t was held this morning, before Mr. E. C. She was 34 years of age. j Dr. Hull stated that he had attended ; Mrs. Hare since the birth of the child, I and had found her always bright and i sensible, and on very good terms with ; her husband. He saw the body yesteri day in the dining-room, and was of ! opinion that death had occurred several I hours before. He also thought, the act I could take place as described, and that lit could not have been accidental. The \ only reason he could suggest was that i deceased had been worrying about her i husband's state of health, as he had nnr, ! been well- Death was due to suffoca- ! tion, the result of hanging, and from the : fact that the woman took her life in the ! presence of the child he was satisfied ' that her mind was unhinged at the j time. A verdict was returned in accordance j with the medical testimony.
