GUN FATALITY.
MAN SHOT AT HOWICK. Information was forwarded by telephone this afternoon to Mr. E. C. Cutten, S.M., as Coroner, asking him to proceed to Howick for the purpose of holding an inquiry into the death of a man named William Charle3 Hemming, who had apparently accidentally shot himself while getting through a fence with a gun in his hands. It is supposed that he was dragging his gun behind him, and the fence struck the hammer, thu3 causing the charge to be fired. Decease.'] was a single man, twenty-five years ni age, and was found lying dead.
