OBITUARY.
CAPTAIN ERIHSEN. The many friends of Captain Eriksen (president of the Auckland • Coastal Masters' Association) will learn with regret of that gentleman's death.'.- He has been ailing for the last few months, and his disease terminated: fatally at his residence, Franklin Road, at noon to-day. Captain Eriksen was a most popular man, and highly esteemed by all who knew him. He was a very old hand on the coastal trade, and therefore made many friends in various places." The deceased was about 57 years of age, and leaves, an adult family of five children.
