BROKEN HILL STRIKE.
THOTTBLS MAT SPREAD. (Received 11.20 a,m.) SYDXEY, this day. Though the bulk of the female and some male shop assistants at Broken Hill have resumed, trouble still exists. Hostile demonstrations, and to some esitent v. '"boycott," is utilised against those [returning. The chops are picketed, but no interference with trade has been attempted. There is a possibility of th.c unions calling a wider strike.
