A NEW GUINEA SCHEME. (Received 10.10 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. Lieutenant Gractz, of the Fuftfarzen. Company, Berlin, is preparing a scheme I for utilising an airship to explore New ! Guinea. The cost of the enterprise, for the furtherance of which committees have been formed in Britain and Holland, is estimated at £150,000. The German Colonial Bank is financing the scheme. It is claimed that a systematic topographical survey of the unknown interior will be made more quickly and thoroughly under the new scheme.
