(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAKEI, the day. A poll was taken to-day on the question, -of rating on unimproved value ■within the Borough of The proposal woe carried. The figures are: for the proposal, 327; against, 228; informal, 9, showing a majority of 09 votes in favour: The result of poll declaration was greeted with cheering by a lars-e crowd in waiting outside the Town Hall.
