AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION. MEETING OF EXECTJTITE. The Executive Committee of the Ancfc land Hockey Association met In tn< Sparte Club last evening. There were present: Messrs Tattley (chairman), ParKm, Wrteley, Hay, Alison, Lamb, Blcbaro*. Butler, Culpan, and L. H. Norton (Son. L. Whittaker was granted a transfer from the North Shore Club to Areta. Hammond, of the University Club, was regraded from third to fourth grade. , It was decided, in view.of postponements through the weather, to curtail the redrawn senior grade matches, one round only to be played (three matches), .we jnnior matches are to be played as drawn. An application was received from tne Training College asking for postponements of their matches on the 16th and -Jra August It was decided to grant their request in respect to fourth {Trade team only, as further postponements in o« second grade are quite impossible. A cable waa received from Mr Eliot B. Davis from London, stating that a toor of the Dominion by a British representative team next %vtnter has been arranged subject to ratification, and indicating that detail* have been mailed. This was forwarded to the New Zealand Hockey Association. Ground fees for the season were assessea as follows:—Seniors, £4 V: seconds. « 2/6; ihirds. £4: fourths, £3 17/6; all balances to be paid before August 31st.
