(Received 11.15 a.m.) LONDON, August 4. stateTrW t Wa ? correspondent states that keen interest is being taken in official circles at the renewed report that Great Britain is establishing a fireat naval base in the Bermudas B American officials realise that the problem is tremendous, involving the very \L , , C - M<Jn , r ° o and a complete revolution of naval policy as ot.ier European Powers will probably follow- England's lead. H is thought that Great Britain is contemplating the gathering of a squadron in the vicinity of th e Panama Canal, as in the Mediterranean.
