LONDON, August 4. •When His Majesty the King arrived off the Isle of Wight for "Cowes Week," in the Royal yacht Victoria and Albert,, he was greeted by Mr. Harry Hawker, an' Australian, flying in a Sopwith waterplane. The King watched the evolutions of the machine through a telescope, and then called the Queen and the Princess Mary to join him on the bridge. Hawker twice alighted on the water, and rose again easily. 'He performed several air Tricks, including a. final curt-j sey, and then led the Royal procession ' into the roads. The Admiralty has since acquired the Traterplane.
