THE GREY ELECTION.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —The strong note of discontent manifest in the "lieraM'e" , article as to the result of the Urey election seeme etrangely inconsistent, "seeing that tlie tactics adopted at Grey were precisely those followed with euch marked euocese by the Reform party at the late genera! election, to the lose of some half-dozen Liberal seat*, and the consequent overthrow of the Liberal Government. Now, Mr. Editor, why should a pr.vei cian object to sample hU own medicine occasionally? .Especially are the remarks of your contemporary in its article on Mr. VowUU ' a bit weak. The "HeruM" assured us that the medicine administered last election to Mr. Fowlds at Grey Lynn with such Payne-ful results was a. most wholesome corrective, yet a dose out of the selfsame bottlo to Mr. Michel at drey was poisonous in the extreme! Evident!v this medjeine is not safe unless the '•R«raldV Reforming dispenser* have the sole prerogative of administering it i 1 etc " IfEVrBSIB
