MEETINGS.
ODDFELLOWS' SOCIAL. The United Brothers' Lodge of Oddfellows held Its annual anniversary social and dance in the Druids' Hall, North Street, Newton, on Wednesday evening. There was a large attendance of members and friends. A short mnsical programme arranged by Bro. Will Skerrett was greatly enjoyed, songs being rendered by Miss R. Ward. Messrs A. Austen, D. McKay. G. Jamieson, Master Ward, and Will Skerrett. Mr W. Pnrceirs orchestra supplied the music. ROSKILL ADULT SCHOOL. The fourth anni-rersary of the RoskUl Adnlt School was celebrated on Saturday evening in the Friends' Meeting House, Mt. Eden. Abont sixty members and their friends sat down to tea. after which a very successful concert was held, the following being the programme:—Pianoforte selection. Mis* A. Marsden; song, Mr W. Shepherd: niusieal sketch, Mr H. Garttnd; song, Miss E. Olphert: recitation. Miss E. Stevens; song. Mr W. Rutledge; duet, Mrs Dye and Miss Hlggott; recitation, Mr R. New: song, Mr Coleman; song. Miss A. CoJey; duet, Messrs Anderson and Cotiixigs; tedteUon. Mie3 E. Marsden; elnb-swmsiae eoio, Mrs. Macintosh; accompanist. Miss A. Marsden. All the Items were excellently rendered and were ranch appreciated. The annual election of omcers took place on the previous Sunday, when tie following were elected:— President, Mr. Clifton Bromley; vice-presi-dent, Mr. E. Tlnscn; secret.-! ry*. Mr. F. W: Dance; treasurer, Mr. S. ('r.'iit: delegates to the Aafldand- Council nf Adult Schools,the president, secretary; Mr. J. A. Macintosh and Mr. S. Grant.
