'MURDERED MAN'S WATCH FOUND. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) OAMARr. this day. \\"hat is an interesting sidelight on even-to connected with the Ronnie murder at Papakiao. in IHOC. it* the finding by Mr Tomiineon of Kennies gold watch while ploughing 011 his property-. It is known that at the time of the murder Penr.ie had a gold watch, and this and a bicycle were the only articles missed. It may be remembered that some time after the murder bathers in the Waitaki River, near Tomlins-on's farm, recovered a bicycle, and although it was
too far rusted to admix of certain identification, but little doubt was expressed that it was Rennie's machine. After many yeans, fuller evidence that the criminal took the ferry road after perpetrating the foul deed, comes; to light in the discovery of the watch, which bears the inscription: '"Presented to ,1. Renrrie. etc.'' With the watch was a revolver and 3o cartridges.
