FLOODS IN AUSTRALIA. FARMERS UNABLE TO WORK. SYDNEY. June JO. A -trout* south-east pale is blowing here, and rough sens prevail along the coast. There was a heavy downpour in the city this afternoon, one of the heaviest ever experienced. Tbe streets were transformed into rivers, and all low-lying creas were flooded. Record fall- have been experienced in south coast districts. 11 in falling at ISega. The rivers are all in flood. There has been v.-r; weather -i-n-e Easter, and the farmers are b-eomivig despondent, as they arc unable to work the land. The roads are everywhere in a deplorable condition, Telegraphic communication i- greatly dislocate,!.
