HURRICANE AT TONGA.
MANY PLANTATIONS DESTROYED.
Hurricanes in the Tongan Group have wrought great havoc among the plantations. Captain Chrietensen, of the barquentine Laura, which arrived at Sydney a few days ago, etated ithat affaire were in a bad* way as a result of the Irarri-ea-nes, many of the plantations being destroyed.
