The following is a copy of a letter which has been forwarded to the District Traffic Manager by the Onehunga branch of the Auckland Mutual Sports Protection Association:—"Dear Sir.—The executive of the Onehunga Sports -Association respectfully desire to point out to you the very inadequate and inconvenient, train scrviw arranged for the patrons attending the Ellerslie races. Xeed we point out that after the last race is run there, is no service to One-
hnnga under an hours waif? The 5.20 p.m. train from Auckland just passes tic course too soon. We respectfully ask that the Onehunga-Penrose service should be extended to the racecourse and leave after t'nc last dividend has been paid out. Koed we point out that such an arrangement would be greatly appreciated by the many people of Onehunga and Te Papapa, who hare been badly afforded proper attention for years past? Trusting our appeal will be favourably entertained, and thanking you in anticipation (Signed), Sid Child,' Hon. Sec."
