DARWIN STRIKE.
A PECTTXIAB. POSITION. c DARWIX, May 28. The local brnnch of the Amalgamated Workers' T'nion recently passed a resolution agreeing to return to work on condition that all the strikers were reinstated. The Administrator of the Northern Territory (Dr. Gilruth) refused to reinstate the Dim. and thereupon the union telejrraphed to the Minister of Externa] Affairs iMr Thomas |on the matter. Since then many positions have been filled up, and all tile strikers failing to return by a given time are to be deemed to have resigned their positions. Much curiosity prevails regarding the oulcume.
