After the Coroner's jury at Calgary had returned a verdict of accidental death at the inquest on Luther McCarthy, vrho was killed during a match with Arthur Pel Key. the Magistrate committed for trial '"Tommy" Burns, the famous heavyweight, promoter of the ruaieh. and PelKe/ on a chars** of thr- manslauchter of MiCarthy. the former'- verdict, j The accused wrrc admitlril to bail.! They deny thit the fight was unlawful or a prize fight fiieb as the Canadian Jawprohibited. Full investigation of the fatality, however, i= held to be necessary.
