The Staw, Savfll steamer Waiwera is to <f»me up from the powder ground to-morrow and will berth at RE, railway wharf. The Union Co.'s steamer Mriitjii is to leave Wellington for Anckland this evening. She is due here on Sunday next. The New Zealand Shipping Co.'s s.s. Ruapehu is filed.to leave Wellington at noon today for London, via ports. It was fonnd upon examination on the patent slip that the coaster Kapanui had sustained slight damage as a resnlt of having grounded at Patea. The steamer Talnne. of the Union Co.'s fleet, is due at Auckland to-morrow from the Eastern PaciHc. She will be berthed at the Hobson Street wharf to discharge. Th« New Zealand Shipping Company's old steamer Wakanni. which was recently sold, has been renamed Broadmonnt by her new owners, the Broadmount Shipping Co.. Ltd., of London. Cable advice has been received by the local agents for the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company stating that the Arawa left London on Saturday. May -4, for New Zealand ports. She is due at Wellington on July 8. The White Star liner Corinthic left Londnn for Wellington and Lyttelton on' April 24. She is dne at the Southern port on June 10. After discharge the steamer will load in the Dominion, and is fixed to sail outwards for London again on July 10. The ferry steamer Wahine. which is dne at Dnnedin at the end of June, will enter the Lyttelton-Wellington ferry service after cleaning and painting. It is probable that the Maori will then be withdrawn for complete overhaul. KIA ORA FOR LOADING. The Shaw. MAHENO LEFTUXDNKI". The Union Co.'s steamer Mabeno left Sydney for Anckland at noon yesterday. She has on board for this port 76 saloon and 98 steerage passengers. The Mabeno is due at Auckland on Sunday morning next. IHTMATA CHARTERED. Another uniiscal charter for a vessel of the Craig fleet is announced. The wellknown trader Ilmnmta is. like the Joan j Craig, to make a trip out of her regular route. Th* arrangement agreed upon is lot her to load coal at Newcastle for Noumea. After discharge is completed there she will proceed to Surprise Island and load for either Lyttelron or Blnff. SHIPPING SALES. Advices received by the mall state that several more well-known vessels hare changed owners, among them being the Norwegiau barque Stronibso, which when first launched in 18S6 flew the British Bag and sailed in the Island line of clippers managed by P. Denniston and Co.. of Glasgow. She brought £5000. but the nationality or name of the new owners did not transpire. The iron ship Waldon Abbey, built in 1881 at Lrrerpool ana of 1754 tous nut register, was also ! sold. She realised £T>2SO. Like the Strombso, the Waldon Abbey has a history, having for many years been employed in the Liverpool- | Calcutta trade. Another sale is that of the!
