I NOTE.—Tuesday. 3rd June (King's Birthday) being a post office holiday, the following hours will be observed in the chief post office: —The office will be closed in all branches. All mails nsnallv despatched on Tuesday will dose at 7J5 a_m. Loose letters for Cook Islands, Tahiti, and Penrhyn Island may be posted on steamer up to hour of departure, and southern mails on the train up to 9.10 p.m. There will be no delivery by letter carrier, bnt a delivery of letters (including registered) will be made over the counter on Monday, 2nd inst.. from 7 to 8 p.m. The usual clearance of suburban receiving boxes will be made at o p.m., to reach office at 7 p.m. TUESDAY, June 3.
