LAWN TENNIS.
The annual general meeting of the Dominion Road Lawn Tennis Club was held in the Druids Hall, **alley Road, when alarge attendance of members was present. The past year's work was very favourably commented o_, and a hearty vote of thanks and appreciation was passed for the valnable services rendered to the club by the retiring secretary. The club's "Ai Home," held on the loth inst. in the Masonic HaU, had proved a great success. The finances of the club were reported to be in a very satisfactory state, and the clnb now starts off with a credit 'balance, all due to the efforts of the past committer. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: Patron, R. E. Fletcher: president, B. H. Potter; vice-presidents, W. Garrett, J. W. Bailey. S. J. Atkins, O. Nicholson, A. S. Reid, Hall Skelton; hon. sec., li. Wallace: aEst. sec, C. Arthur; auditor, S. Chambers; general committee, ■ ■_.. Ellison. R. Bridgman, W. Worth, "Malcolm. >F. Wilson; ladies' social committee, Misses Campbell, Webb, Booth, Shackelford, and Foley. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded eto the re-elected president for his valuable assistance rendered during the year, amd also to the outgoing committee.
GLENFIELD V. BORGESDA (BIRKEIHEAD.) A game of tennis was playedi on Saturday afternoon between the Gle_fleld Tenuis Chib and the Borglnda Club at Mr J. Steele's court, Birkenhead, the results being as follows:—Men's doubles: McKay and Schofield v. CutSbert and Randan, 6—5; Schofield aud H. Chappell v. Angus and Ctrthbert, 3—6. Combined doubles-.
