TIMARU BUTCHERS OUT.

A SENSATIONAL INCIDENT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TIMARU, this day. Butchers at the Smithfield Freezing Works are again "out." The ca.use is said to be friction with free labour, particularly against one man (a one-time unionist). A startling incident led up to the strike, unionists stating that the man objected to drew a revolver when lie was bein£ jeered at this morning. The man says he did not draw a revolver, that lie 'merely flourished a knifewhen he was sneered at.
